2. Scope of This Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid services offered by Next Chapter Skills Private Limited, including:

• NCS Labs Training Programs
• Internship Programs
• ApplicantSpace SaaS subscriptions
• IT and software development services
• Workshops, hackathons, and events (paid)

This policy does not apply to free programs, free internships, or the Startup Student Factory which are provided at zero cost.

3. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 10 (ten) working days from the date of written approval. Processing occurs to the original payment method used during the transaction, subject to banking and payment gateway timelines which may vary.

GST amounts paid (at the applicable rate) may not be refundable as they are remitted to the Government of India in accordance with GST regulations.

4. How to Submit a Refund Request

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@nextchapterskills.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Order/Transaction ID]" and must include:

• Order or transaction ID
• Registered email address used at the time of purchase
• Full name and contact number
• Reason for the refund request
• Supporting evidence or documentation where applicable

All refund requests are reviewed individually. We may reach out for additional information before processing.

5. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

• The program or service was cancelled by Next Chapter Skills before delivery
• A technical failure on our platform prevented access to a paid service
• Duplicate payment was charged for the same transaction
• The program content delivered was materially different from what was advertised

6. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

• The training program or service has already commenced or been substantially completed
• Digital course content or downloadable resources have already been accessed
• Certificates have already been issued to the participant
• The refund request is based solely on a change of mind after service delivery has begun
• The participant failed to attend or complete the program without a valid reason
• Free programs, free internships, or Startup Student Factory placements

7. GST and Tax Treatment

All prices on our platform are inclusive of applicable Goods & Services Tax (GST) at the rates prescribed by the Government of India. GSTIN: 29AAKCN5866A1Z7. In the event of an approved refund, the GST component that has been remitted to tax authorities may not be refundable, and only the net amount (excluding GST already deposited) may be returned, in accordance with applicable tax law.

8. Partial Refunds

In cases where only a portion of a program has been delivered, a partial refund may be considered at the discretion of Next Chapter Skills management based on the proportion of services delivered. The decision of management shall be final in such cases.

9. Cancellation by the User

Users wishing to cancel a paid enrollment before program commencement must submit the cancellation in writing at least 48 hours before the program start date to be eligible for a refund consideration. Cancellations received after commencement are subject to Section 6 (Non-Refundable Scenarios) of this policy.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may write to info@nextchapterskills.com outlining your dispute. We will conduct an internal review and provide a final written response within 15 working days. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the laws of India and the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Policy Updates

Next Chapter Skills Private Limited reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website and will take effect from the date of publication.
